Important Market Update from ARCC

|American Rare Coins

Dear Clients and Friends of American Rare Coin & Collectibles,

The precious metals market is experiencing historic price strength alongside significant operational strain. While gold and silver values remain elevated, the wholesale ecosystem that supports physical metals including refining, logistics, settlement, and payment timelines is currently congested.

As market activity has accelerated, capacity across the system has tightened at the same time. Refiners, wholesalers, logistics providers, and downstream buyers are experiencing saturation, extended settlement timelines, and reduced liquidity. These conditions first appeared in the silver market earlier this fall and have now extended into gold.

Over the past two weeks alone, American Rare Coin & Collectibles has purchased the equivalent of four months of inventory directly from estates, individuals, and smaller dealers. Seller demand has been extraordinary, and we remain committed to serving clients responsibly and transparently. At the same time, many buyers further along the supply chain have slowed purchasing, extended payment timelines, or temporarily paused intake, including limited availability of refining options that historically allowed for fast settlement.

In this environment, the most responsible decision is to pace our buying activity and limit purchases to items with a clear and reliable settlement path. This is not a reflection of reduced demand for precious metals. It is a disciplined response to current market conditions.

For Clients Buying from ARCC | Bullion sales continue as normal. Clients may continue to purchase gold and silver bullion with or without an appointment, as they always have. You can also buy from our dedicated site: www.coinsonline.com

For Clients Selling to ARCC | Buying activity is temporarily limited. Over-the-counter purchases are being restricted, with limited appointments, which are currently fully booked for several weeks. Selling appointments will continue to be scheduled, with priority given to commonly traded and easily liquidated material. Some appointments may be cancelled or deferred if necessary. Walk-in selling without an appointment is temporarily paused to allow us to manage the current conditions.

While we would prefer to buy from everyone who walks through our doors, our responsibility is to operate in a manner that ensures long-term stability and preserves the trust our clients place in us. Conditions may change quickly, and we will continue to communicate as circumstances evolve.

Our Commitment

American Rare Coin & Collectibles has navigated volatile and dislocated markets before. We remain financially strong, operationally disciplined, and deeply committed to transparency and reliability. We believe these conditions are temporary, though the timing of normalization cannot be predicted. As markets for physical gold and silver eventually reopen to normal levels, we look forward to increasing our buying activity accordingly.

We appreciate your patience, understanding, and trust. If you have questions about your specific situation, we encourage you to speak directly with a member of our team.

Sincerely,

Nick Pechman
President
American Rare Coin & Collectibles
